Scope
This document will allow you to configure the GS Wave softphone application for use with your hosted voice service
Requirements
- IOS or Android phone
- GS Wave app from iTunes or Google Play store
- SIP Credentials - Find how to get them here
Download GS Wave Lite
- Download and install Grandstream Wave Lite from the App Store here
- Download and install Grandstream Wave Lite from the Google Play Store here
- Open the GS Wave Lite application
- Navigate to Settings > Account Settings
- Click on the Plus
- Select SIP Account
- Enter the following information using your SIP credentials:
- Account Name: Enter a descriptive name for this account, usually the extension number
- SIP Server: Enter the Domain/Proxy
- SIP User ID: Enter the Username
- SIP Authentication ID: Enter the Username
- Password: Enter the Password
- Display Name: Enter the user's name
- Voicemail UserID: 9901
- Once done, click on the Checkmark and back out.
- Select the account you created
- Scroll Down to Network Settings > Outbound Proxy
- Enter the SIP Outbound Proxy
NOTE: Do not include the :5060 at the end
- Scroll to SIP Settings > select Unregister before New Registration
- Select Do not Unregister
- Return to Settings and Select Advanced Settings > Network Settings
- Ensure Only Use This WiFi to Register Account is disabled
