Scope Requirments Connect a SIP Trunk

Scope

Intended Audience: All Users

This doc will go over how to setup a Unifi Talk SIP trunk

 

Requirments

  • Access to UniFI Admin Panel
 

 

Connect a SIP Trunk

  1. Log into the UniFI admin panel.
  2. Navigate to UniFI Talk 
  3. Select Settings > System
  4. Click Add Third-Party SIP Provider
  5. Create an OIT SIP Trunk with the following details:
    1. Provider Name:  OIT
    2. Proxy: <outbound proxy>
    3. For the outbound proxy, replace <outboundproxy> with the FQDN for your primary core (reach out to support if unsure):
      1. ATL: sbc.ucaasnetwork.com
      2. IAD: sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com
      3. PHX: sbc-phx.ucaasnetwork.com
    4. Realm: <sip trunk's name>
    5. from-domain: <domain name>
  6. Click Apply

NOTE: Please note that the numbers in the Portal's DID Inventory should be pointed to the correct sip trunk connection which is the trunk name. Please see this doc for best practices.
