Datagate: Add Services and Products

Intended Audience: Finance Department
This article outlines how to add services and products to Datagate customers
Requirements
- Access to Datagate
- Access to Manager Portal
Add Service Items
- Log in to Datagate
- Go to Customers, then search for the name of your client and click on it
- Go to Service Items tab
- Click the + icon
- Fill out the following information:

Service Item: Domain name of the client
- Note: You can check this in the client’s Manager Portal.
- Note: Include the Reseller ID if it shows in the online portal. If it does not, just put the domain name that shows in the Manager Portal

Aliases: Copy what you put in the service item and click add

Service: Choose Tollfree and Tolls
Note: You have to repeat this process to be able to do them both -
From: The day you start billing their usage

Service Item: Domain name of the client
- Click Save
Add Rate Card
- Go to the Assignments tab
- Click the + icon
- Fill out the following information:
- Rating Item: Outbound and Inbound (Non TF) Call Rates
- Site: Leave this blank
- Service Item: All Service Items

From: The day you start billing their usage
- Click Save
Add Products
- Go to the Products tab
- Click + > Add Product

- Note: Add Product Kit is created in the Kit Templates, it’s essentially a bundle of products for different price rather than having the product separated out
- Fill out the following information:

Product Template: Choose the product
- Note: Once you have chosen, it will automatically populate the rest of the information
- From: The day you start billing their usage

Allow ProRata: If something changes, bill can be prorated

Product Template: Choose the product
- Click Save
