Syncing an existing RPS Device to YMCS

Syncing Phone to YMCS Syncing Phones by Date

Scope

The following article will show you how you sync an existing Yealink Device that is present on RPS to YMCS

 

Requirements

  • Access to YMCS 
     
  • YMCS bound to RPS 
     
  • Phones added to RPS
 

 

Syncing Phone to YMCS

  1. Log into the YMCS console
  2. Click on the dropdown for RPS Management and click on RPS Device List
  3. Here you will see all devices currently added to RPS, any devices that are not on the YMCS will show their Synchronized status as No
     
  4. To synchronize a phone, click on the checkbox next to the Mac address and click on Sync
  5. YMCS will ask you to confirm these changes and to sync to specific site. Once done click on Confirm
  6. The devices will now be synced to the YMCS console

Syncing Phones by Date

  1. When under RPS Device List click on Device Sync
  2. This will allow you to choose which devices are synced to YMCS based on the day the device was bound to RPS
  3. Select your range and click Next Step
  4. Next it will show you how many devices are selected as well which server they belong to and the site you would like to add them to
  5. Once confirmed click on Submit
