Configure Snom Phone

Scope:

The following document will show you how to remote provision a Snom D series desk phone.

 

Requirements:

  • Access to Snom web GUI
  • Access to Manager Portal
  • Phone's MAC address must already have been added to a user in the Manager Portal
  • Global Username and Password provided by Support. 
 

 

Configure Snom Phone

  1. Using any web browser navigate to the IP address of the phone.
  2. Click on the Advanced tab under Setup.
  3. Under the QoS/Security Tab, enter the Global Username and Password under the HTTP Client section.
  4. Click on the Update tab.
  5. In the Setting URL enter the provisioning URL for your domain and click on Apply.

  1.  Click on Save and Reboot.
  2. Your phone will download the config and reboot at least once.
