Configure Provisioning Server from Web GUI Troubleshooting

Scope:

The following steps will allow you to remotely provision a Panasonic deskphone.

 

Requirements:

  • Access to the phone or web GUI
  • It is recommended to Factory Reset the handset before provisioning

Phone's MAC address must have already been entered in the Manage Portal

 

 

Global Username and Password provided by support. 

Configure Provisioning Server from Web GUI

  1. From the phone press the Menu button.
  2. Select Setting Handset from the menu.
  3. Select Other Option > Embedded Web > On.
  4. Select System Settings from the menu.
  5. Select Status > IPv4 Settings > IP Address from the menu.
  6. The screen will display the phone’s current IP Address.
  7. Using any web browser navigate to the IPv4 Address from the previous step
  8. Log in to the web GUI with admin/adminpass and click on the Login button
  9. The phone’s web interface will display in the browser.
  10. Click on the Maintenance tab, and then select Provisioning Maintenance.
  11. Enter the URL:
    ***Replace <Global Username> and <Global Password> with the appropriate Username and Password supplied by support. 
URL: http://<Global Username>:<Global Password>@ndp.ucaasnetwork.com/cfg/{mac}.cfg
  1. Click Save.
  2. Your phone should download the configuration and reboot within 60 seconds. If it does not reboot then you can reboot the phone manually.

Troubleshooting

If your phone does not provision with the v2 address try using http://129.213.10.212/cfg/{mac}.cfg
