Setting Obihai Status to Managed

Scope Requirements: Check if Obihai is Unmanaged Change Obihai Status

Scope

If an Obihai device goes online before being claimed, the device can show a status of unmanaged and a ZT of pending. This document explains how to change the status of an Obihai from Unmanaged to Managed.

 

Requirements:

  • An Obitalk.com Account 
     
  • Lineman's butt set, or an analog phone 
     
  • Obihai device
 

 

Check if Obihai is Unmanaged

To check if your Obihai device is unmanaged, log in to your obitalk.com account. The status of the device will say unmanaged and the ZT column will say Pending


Change Obihai Status

  1. Connect a buttset to the ObiHai device 
  2. Dial *** and dial the following options when prompted
  3. 0
  4. 8888#
  5. 1
  6. 1#
  7. 1
  8. You should hear an automated message saying Value Saved
  9. Hang up and refresh the Obihai page. Status should show managed and ZT should show Yes
