Add MAC Address Troubleshooting

Scope

Intended Audience: White Label Partners or Higher

The following steps will allow you to redirect a new or factory reset Yealink phone to our NDP servers without any prior configuration. This is most commonly used in cases where you must direct ship a new phone to a customer. The first time the phone boots it will seek out the Yealink RPS service and get redirected to our provisioning servers.

Requirements

Access to Yealink RPS
MAC address of phone(s) that will be provisioned
MAC address must already have been entered in the Manager Portal

Add MAC Address

  1. Using any web browser log onto the RPS
  2. Under Device Management >Phone Device Click RPS Management
  3. Click Add
  4. Complete the following fields:
    1. Enter each MAC address and click the Plus Sign
    2. In the Server Name drop-down box, select the Server Name
    3. In the Remark field, enter the name of the customer's domain (optional)
    4. Leave the other fields blank
  5. At the bottom of the page click Save

Troubleshooting

If the MAC is assigned to another VoIP provider's RPS, you can request the removal via a Yealink form at https://ticket.yealink.com/page/mac-removal.html

You will need to enter the MAC and serial numbers of the devices. You may be required to provide a photo showing possession of the device.
