There are cases where you want to leave your voice services on our platform, but move messaging (SMS/MMS) to a third party. Below are the steps to do so.
Validation & Enablement
Please submit a porting ticket at ports@oit.co, so that we may verify if your number is eligible. There are cases where we need to make back end changes that may take several days. By submitting a case we will verify this for you and provide the necessary timeline. Once the number is enabled for third-party messaging we will notify you via the same ticket.
Note: Once the SMS port request is submitted to the 3rd party carrier, we may need to require to approve the sms port out. You will be notified in the case if port out approval is required
Inform Third Party
After we have confirmed that the number is enabled for third-party messaging, you may contact your provider to have them enable messaging on this DID.
