Allworx: Connect a SIP IP Based Trunk

Create SIP Trunk on Allworx

Scope:

The following steps will allow you to use a SIP Trunk with your hosted Allworx PBX using IP Based SIP Trunk

 

Requirements:

  • Administrator privileges to the web console
  • SIP trunk information (see Create a SIP Trunk)
    • Ensure SIP Trunk Name is the same as Domain
 

 

Create SIP Trunk on Allworx

 

  1. Login to your Allworx administration page
  2. Navigate to Phone System -> Outside Lines -> Modify SIP Proxy
  3. Description: Name of your SIP Trunk
  4. SIP Server: Name of the SIP Trunk.

    ie: This is the Name of the SIP Trunk which you need to put in the SIP Server
  5. Type 5060 for Port:
  6. Use sbc.ucaasnetwork.com in Outbound Proxy Field and Port 5060
  7. Make sure SIP Registration required is unchecked
  8. Your Allworx configuration should look something like below.
  9. Click Update

You will get a warning about SIP Server not being a valid FQDN which you can ignore.
