Obihai 200/300: Provisioning

Scope:
The following steps will allow you to configure an Obihai ATA phone manually for use with your Hosted PBX service. Note that a Faxbridge is the recommended device for analog fax and we will not be able to assist in troubleshooting any issues related to faxing with traditional ATAs.
Requirements:
- If you or your provider has not already done so, Add Your Device to the Manager Portal
- An Obitalk.com Account
- Lineman's butt set, or an analog phone
- All entries are case-sensitive unless otherwise noted
- Firmware Version Required: 3.1.0 (build 5110)+
Add a Base Profile
This step only needs to be completed once.
- Select Manage Base Profiles from the left menu
- Select the next available base profile in the dropdown
- Name the profile Hosted PBX
- Set Default Profile to yes
- In the Profile field, enter the following:

- Click Update
Add Device to Obitalk Portal
- Connect your Obi device to the LAN and power
- Connect your lineman's butt set or analog telephone to the Phone port
- Using any browser navigate to https://obitalk.com and log in
- From the left menu click Add Device
- Click Next
- Open a line on the obihai device and press the key codes listed on the page
- You will hear an announcement saying "The number you've dialed has been sent to the server". You may disconnect the line
- The screen will change showing the Device model, OBi #, MAC, SN and status
- Click Confirm
- You should be taken back to your Manage Devices page with the notice that the Obihai has been added to your account
- Click on the ObiNo of the device you wish to manage
- Under the Device Details tab, update the following fields
- Primary Line: SP1 Service
- Base Profile: Select the Base Profile previously created
- Under the Notes tab, use the Device Note field to add a brief description of the ATA's use
- Click Save
