Add an Individual Phone Number Import DIDs

Scope

Intended Audience: White Label Partners, Client Success or Telco Services Department

This article outlines how to add or import DIDs to Manager Portal. This is normally completed by Telco Services after they have received FOC or on new DID purchases. But the process can be done by a WLP if they want to configure call routing in advance of a port or enable CID Masking.

Requirements

White Label Access to Manager Portal or higher

Add an Individual Phone Number

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal
  2. Navigate to Inventory
NOTE: Make sure this is done from the root
  3. Click Add Phone Number
NOTE: For numbers porting. Filter first the number to check if the number is already in inventory to avoid overwriting the configurations.
  4. In the popup, fill out the following:
    • Phone Number: Enter the 11 digit number. Do not include any spaces or special characters
    • Domain: The domain the DID should be assigned to
NOTE: By default, White Label Partners will have DIDs assigned to their DID Holding domain
    • Treatment: Select the desired routing, or leave as Available Number
NOTE: Telco Services will add DIDs for White Label Partners as Available Number
    • Enable DID: No, unless the DID is already active (either purchased or ported in)
NOTE: Telco Services will automatically enable DIDs on the port date. White Label Partners should always set this to No unless they are BYOT.
    • Enable Date (Optional): This can be left blank
NOTE: Telco Services will set the enable date for the FOC date on numbers porting in.
    • Disable Date (Optional): If set, the number will change to disabled on this date. It is recommended to leave this blank.
    • Notes (Optional): You can use this field to enter any notes such as the intended use or port date.
NOTE: Telco Services will document the Case & FOC date (if porting) for the number here
  5. Click Save
