Add Custom Overrides

Scope
Intended Audience: All Users
These steps will instruct you how to add custom overrides to a provisioned device. This is the recommended method for customizing your phone. To apply overrides to all the phones on your account, contact your service provider.
Requirements
- Office Manager access to the Manager Portal
Add Overrides via Phone Hardware
- Log in to the Manager Portal
- Navigate to Inventory > Phone Hardware
- Click the pencil icon on the right
Note: Do not click the MAC Address as this will open SNAPbuilder
- Select the Advanced tab
- Enter the overrides into the Overrides field
Note: Overrides should be formatted without spaces with the configuration value enclosed in quotation marks such as in the image below
- Click Save and Resync to apply your changes to the phone
Note: The phone may reboot depending on the override applied
Add Overrides via SNAPbuilder
- Log in to the Manager Portal
- Navigate to Inventory > Phone Hardware
- Click either the MAC address for the phone or the gear icon on the right
- Click the button with the three dots in the top right corner and select Additional Phone Settings
- Apply your custom overrides and select Done
Note: Overrides should be formatted without spaces with the configuration value enclosed in quotation marks such as in the image below
- Click Save and Resync to apply your changes to the phone
