Cisco: Manually Registering an ATA

Scope:
The following steps will show you how to manually register a Cisco ATA. All examples were made using a Cisco SPA232D and the portal appearance may vary from device to device.
Requirements:
- Access to Manager Portal
- Access to Cisco Web Interface
Obtain SIP Credentials
- Log in to the Manager Portal
- Navigate to Phones

NOTE: Office Managers can navigate to Users > select the user > Phones

Select Phone Info for the ATA you wish to register.

NOTE: You will only see the information if the phone model is set to Manual or Softphone

- Take note of the listed information.
- Click Cancel when you are finished
Manually Register the ATA
Note:
The default LAN IP Address in 192.168.15.1. You will use this to log into the web interface.
- Using any web browser navigate to 192.168.15.1. The default username and password will be admin/admin.
- Click on Admin Login > Advanced
- Click on Voice > Line 1
- Complete the following, leaving all other fields as default
- Proxy: Enter the Domain / Proxy
- Outbound Proxy: Enter the Outbound Proxy (exclude the 5060)
- Use Outbound Proxy: yes
- Register: yes
- Display Name: User's Name
- User ID: Username
- Use Auth ID: yes
- Auth ID: Username
- Password: Password
- Click "Submit"
