Datagate: How to Export Invoices to Connectwise Manage

Scope Requirements

Scope

The following steps will show you how to export invoices to ConnectWise Manage.

 

 

Requirements

  • Access to Datagate 
     
  • Connectwise Integrations 
     
  • Products Created in ConnectWise Manage.
 

 

  1. Navigate to Invoicing
     
  2. Switch to Action Invoices
     
  3. Select the invoices you want to export. 
  4. Pick the Actions Button and Select Export Invoice

     
  5. It is going to ask you if you are sure. Select Yes.

     
  6. The Type of Export is going to ConnectWise Multiline. Then click Export.
     
  7. Go ahead and Map the invoices following the 8 steps of mapping. 
    1. Billing Status Mapping: Select your Terms and Statuses for your invoices
    2. Business Unit Mapping: This is the view for the invoice. 
    3. Services Mapping: Select the Product for your usage that is in ConnectWise.
    4. Product Mapping: Select the Product you created in ConnectWise.
    5. Surcharge Mapping: Select the Surcharge Product in Connectwise. Or you can choose to combine it with the taxes.
    6. Tax Mapping: You can either select the different products for the taxes or combine them all into one product from here. You can also split them by State
    7. Existing Items: Leave as default. 
    8. Price Calculation: Keep as Summarized.
  8. Click Export. The progress bar will now show invoices being exported and will show you once complete

Invoices should now appear in ConnectWise Manage under Invoice Search. Make sure to confirm this before sending out invoices to customers.
