Datagate: Set Up ConnectWise Manage Integration

Scope
The following steps will show you how to set up the integration in Datagate to bring customers over and export invoices.
Items Needed
- Access to Datagate
- CW API User Created using these permissions:

Scope
The following will show you the permissions needed for the ConnectWise Manage API user for Datagate.
Create a New Security Role
- In ConnectWise Manage navigate to, System/Security Roles
- Add a new Security Role
- Edit the Security Modules for this role. Note the Security Modules listed below allow sync of customers to Datagate, and export to ConnectWise Multiline. With these minimal privileges, it is expected the Custom fields, company Type of Datagate will be set up manually by the administrator

- Log in to Datagate
- Click on your name in the top right and click on settings.
- Click on Integrations
- Click on Configure under ConnectWise Manage

- Enter the following information

- Company Name
- Public Key
- Private Key
- Connectwise URL
- Click the floppy disk to save
- Click on Test Account Access

- If you get this message, you are good to go!
