Scope

The following will show you the permissions needed for the ConnectWise Manage API user for Datagate.

 

Create a New Security Role

  • In ConnectWise Manage navigate to, System/Security Roles
  • Add a new Security Role
  • Edit the Security Modules for this role. Note the Security Modules listed below allow sync of customers to Datagate, and export to ConnectWise Multiline. With these minimal privileges, it is expected the Custom fields, company Type of Datagate will be set up manually by the administrator
