Scope Initiate Request for a Branded CloudieConnect App. Development Phase Resources

Scope

Intended Audience: White Label Partners

This article goes over the CloudieConnect Branding Process for WLPs

Initiate Request for a Branded CloudieConnect App.

  1. A request to add the CloudieConnect branded application is submitted to OIT Support.
  2. The Support team confirms pricing and sends the cost approval request to the partner.
  3. Once OIT receives pricing approval, the partner will be instructed to complete the following steps:
    1. Create a Developer Account for Apple and Google
    2. Create your applications to ensure your preferred name is available
      1. Create the IOS application Add a new app - Create an app record - App Store Connect - Help - Apple Developer
      2. Create the Android application Create and set up your app - Play Console Help
    3. Submit CloudieConnect Branding Form - OIT

Once the above are complete, an OIT Engineer will begin building the branded CloudieConnect application.

Note: All steps must be completed before we begin building any of the apps. We will not begin incomplete applications.

Development Phase

Once OIT receives client approval of costs and the completed branding form, the design team begins creating Figma image mockups for the partner’s review.

  • The full branding process typically takes approximately 30 days from the submission of the original documents.
  • Delays or revision requests from the partner may extend this timeline.
  • Each revision can take up to 5 days.

After the Figma assets are approved, the OIT Engineer submits app builds to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store under the partner’s developer accounts.
