Scope:

The following article will show you how to use the SNAP HD feature introduced in our v41 Feature Update.

Requirements:

Access to PBX Portal.

How to get to SNAP HD:

  • Login to the PBX portal.
  • Once logged in click on "Apps" in the top right of the screen, then click on SNAP HD at the bottom of the drop-down window.
  • After that, it will open a SNAP HD on a separate tab.

How to Start a meeting:

  • If you want to start a meeting you can click on the "Start a new meeting".
  • Then, you will be presented with the meeting settings and join information.
  • Once you set it up how you want it to be set up, click Next.
  • When you join a meeting for the first time, it will prompt you for access to your microphone and camera. Click Allow for both of the pop-ups.
  • After that, you will be able to turn on or off your Camera, Microphone, and Screenshare for when you enter the meeting. Once you have set your options, click on Join.
  • Now you are in the meeting.

How to join a meeting:

How to join a meeting on a computer:
  • If you have an invite link:
    • After you have clicked on the link provided, you will be prompted to enter your Login Name and Password. If you have a login to the PBX you will enter that.
    • If you do not have a login to the PBX then you will need to click on Join As Guest and then enter your name and an email. The last box will be populated with a meeting ID.
    • When you join a meeting for the first time, it will prompt you for access to your microphone and camera. Click Allow for both of the pop-ups.
    • After that, you will be able to turn on or off your Camera, Microphone, and Screenshare for when you enter the meeting. Once you have set your options, click on Join.
    • Now you are in the meeting.
  • If you have a login to the PBX and have the meeting id:
    • Click on Join A Meeting.
    • After that, you will be prompted for the meeting ID. Once you enter that click Next.
    • When you join a meeting for the first time, it will prompt you for access to your microphone and camera. Click Allow for both of the pop-ups.
    • After that, you will be able to turn on or off your Camera, Microphone, and Screenshare for when you enter the meeting. Once you have set your options, click on Join.
    • Now you are in the meeting.

How to Schedule meeting:

  • Click Schedule A Meeting.
  • Once you click on that, you will be prompted with the settings of the meeting, when you are finished setting it up and inviting people, click on Save.
  • You will see the meeting on the meetings section and will be able to join it there.

How to create a meeting room:

You create a meeting room so that you can go in and out of meetings without having to create a new meeting every time since the meeting will close if no one is in there.

  •  Click Create A Meeting Room.
  • After that, you will be prompted with the settings of the meeting room. Once you have finished setting it up and inviting people, click Save.
  • You can go into that room by going to the Rooms section and click on the arrow on the room.

How to look at Past Meetings:

  • Click on View Past Meetings.
  • After that, you will be shown all of your past meetings
  • If you click on the meeting you will be able to see more information on the meeting and if recorded will be able to download the recording.

Functions in the meeting:

  • If you are a host:
    • On the left, you are able to look at the Meeting Information, invite users, and or call someone.
    • With the options in the middle, you will be able to mute/ unmute your microphone, turn your camera on and off, leave the meeting or end the meeting, turn on and off Screenshare, and change the layout of the participants.
    • On the right-hand side, you will be able to see the meeting settings, chat, and the people in the meeting.
  • If you are a participant:
    •  On the left, you are able to look at the Meeting Information.
    • With the options in the middle, you will be able to mute/ unmute your microphone, turn your camera on and off, leave the meeting or end the meeting, turn on and off Screenshare, and change the layout of the participants.
    • On the right-hand side, you will be able to see the meeting settings, chat, and the people in the meeting.

      Note that only the host will be able to:

      • Lock the meeting
      • Start recording
      • End the meeting
